Nine Inch Nails have announced that they well be co-headlining a tour with ex-rivals Soundgarden, taking place in America in the summer of 2014. Dates and details below.
The tour will see the bands hit the road in the US at the end of summer with Death Grips on board as support. It is a surprising pairing considering that frontmen Reznor and Cornell have been renowned for not getting along and have frequently criticized each other in the past.
Nevertheless it looks like they instead have chosen to bury the hatchet, and tour together - with both celebrating anniversaries on 8 March 2014. Bboth of NIN's Downward Spiral album and Soundgarden's Superunknown were released on this date, 20 years ago.
The two bands also have a lot in common, with Soundgarden reforming in 2010 and releasing King Animal in 2013. Nine Inch Nails on the other hand reformed in 2013 to release Hesitation Marks and begin an extensive series of gigs.
