Nine Inch Nails' concept album-cum-television show Year Zero, has found a screenwriter in the form of Fight Club's Jim Uhls.
Uhls will be the second person from the 1999 film to have collaborated with Trent Reznor, with David Fincher's The Social Network gaining the frontman an Oscar for Best Score.
The project, to air on HBO, has been stuck in development since being announced last year, as producers tried to find a suitable writer.
The premise of Year Zero centres around a dystopian future, where a Christian fundamentalist government rules the US by force, licensing everything from births to marriages, with those that show themselves to be independant minded or capable of dissent "disappeared."
Reznor is currently working with Fincher on the score for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
