Noel Gallagher has played a few rare Oasis songs at his Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds show at Bluesfest on the weekend.
Gallagher played 10 Oasis songs in his 19 song setlist with one song, 'D'Yer Wanna Be A Superman' going back to a rare b-side from 1994. The song was never on an album and only ever released as the b-side to the second Oasis single 'Shakermaker' from 1994. Gallagher based the structure of the song on the 'Married With Children' featured on 'Definitely Maybe'.
The lesser known 'Half The World Away', 'Listen Up' and 'The Masterplan' were used by Oasis on their rarities album 'The Masterplan', released in 1998.
'Champagne Supernova', 'Don't Look Back In Anger' and 'Wonderwall', three instantly recognisable Oasis hits also made the set.
