Overview
Noel Gallagher will pick up the prestigious Godlike Genius Award at tonight's NME Awards where he will also be closing the ceremony with a live set including songs from the current album and classic tracks.
This evening's award coincides with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds BRIT nominated album achieving double platinum status – sales in excess of 600 000 - since its release less than six months ago.
The new single "Dream On" will be released on March 12th. The special b side of the single will be "Shoot A Hole Into The Sun" – the first track to be released from the work Noel has recorded with the Amorphous Androgynous.
