In an interview with Kerrang! magazine, the former Black Sabbath singer says he's lucky to be alive and has used up “more lives than a cat”.
He said: 'If a cat's got nine lives, then I've used all of those. I've used all of your lives as well. And a lot of other people's too.'
Talking about the lowest points in his life, he said that he was a “miserable f****** ****” during the 1980s, when he was battling an addiction to alcohol and drugs and that his behaviour was so bad he was banned from wife Sharon’s parties.
He said: 'When I couldn't stop drinking. Alcoholism is ruthless. I could not stop drinking. Sharon [Osbourne] would have parties and I'd have to be the only one not invited. At the end of the day, I was a miserable f****** ****.'
