Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne are working on a hellish Las Vegas production.
The British rocker has long since been known as the Prince of Darkness and even used that term as the title of his 2005 album.
Now he and his wife Sharon, who also works as his manager, are pouring their efforts into a big budget Vegas show.
"I'm working right now on a Vegas production for Ozzy," Sharon confirmed to British newspaper The Sun. "It'll be in time for Halloween and be called Hellgate."
Hellgate is an apt name for Ozzy's planned production, as he's infamous for biting the head off a bat during a live performance in the US in the 80s.
The show will see the 66-year-old follow in the footsteps of fellow Vegas performers Céline Dion, Britney Spears and Donny and Marie Osmond.
Mariah Carey is also thought to be on the verge of signing a megabucks residency deal in Sin City. However, sources close to Ozzy think a rocky sound will be a hit with audiences.
"Vegas is an amazing spot, which has been a huge hit with the rock crowd," an insider divulged. "Ozzy would be a top draw and really do something unique."
Ozzy shot to fame as the frontman of British band Black Sabbath in the 70s. Towards the end of the decade he embarked on a solo career and has enjoyed massive success the world over.
"Ozzy has never done a stand-alone show in Vegas and there has been huge interest in what he has to offer," the source added.
