Ozzy Osbourne has confirmed to Billboard that Black Sabbath will come to an end after whatever happens in the coming year or so.
Word is there will be one more album and a tour but then it's the end.
Osbourne calls it "our last hurrah...then it's no more Sabbath at all. We're disbanding the name and everything. They don't want to tour anymore. I get it. But I love it. I'm gonna continue my solo thing".
Ozzy's last solo album was 2010's Scream but he says more is coming. "...it'll take about two or three years before I release solo stuff again. So Memoirs of a Madman [his current solo career compilation] is just to say to the fans that I haven't stopped."
Osbourne has released ten solo albums over thirty years including Blizzard of Oz (1980 / #21), Diary of a Madman (1981 / #16), The Ultimate Sin (1986 / #6), Ozzmosis (1995 / #4) and Black Rain (2007 / #3).
