P Diddy has announced that he has changed his name to Swag - for a short while at least.
In a YouTube video post the rapper said he has decided to change his moniker temporarily to celebrate overcoming a recent bout of illness. Watch footage of Diddy speaking about his name change below.
"I was sick for a week, and I had a lot to think about when I was almost dying underneath the covers with a fever," he said. "But I'm not dead, I am alive. So I decided that I'm going to change my name for a week, in honour of my comeback."
He added: "I'm not going as Puff, Puffy, Puff Daddy, P Diddy, Diddy, King Combs - for this week only, you can call me by my new name Swag." He has also set up a Twitter account Twitter.com/iamswag under his new name.
'Swag', real name Sean Combs, previously went under the moniker Puff Daddy.
