Overview
The 41-year-old appeared on US chat show Jimmy Kimmel Live! yesterday and told the host that the girl was not injured and even got back in the tub once it had all calmed down.
The incident, which was documented on Ustream, took place on Tuesday in New York City.
The video showed the model sitting in a bathtub surrounded by lit candles but when she leaned back, her hair caught fire.
The model was quick to put her head in the water to put the fire out.
Asked by Kimmel if he have to buy her a new weave, the rapper said: "I had to be nice to her."
Diddy, whose new album Last Train to Paris is out now, also added that she was a 'good sport'.
