Overview
P DIDDY is being taken to court by a little-known R&B artist for using one of his singles without permission.
Troy Hicks claims that Diddy's rap group, Boyz N Da Hood, used parts of his track Private Dancer in their 2007 song Table Dance.
Hicks, whose stage name is Rhythum, previously released the song on independent label Real Life Entertainment.
He filed legal papers in a court in Dallas, Texas which name Boyz N Da Hood, Combs's label Bad Boy Records, Atlantic Recording Corporation, and Block Entertainment in the copyright infringement claim.
