After the band's momentous sold-out show at London's ICA at the end of 2007 and European tour with Cold War Kids, Montreal four piece Patrick Watson return to the UK this April.
The band's album 'Close to Paradise' was released to critical acclaim across the board last year and was the winner of Canada's Polaris Prize (beating off some heavy weight competition in the form of Arcade Fire, The Dears, Feist and The Besnard Lakes).
Together, the four of them conjure up a sonic brew of experimental noise, cabaret guitar/piano pop, stripped down gospel, electronic creeks and loops, walls of noise behind Beatles-like melodies: all led by Patrick's stunning voice.
April live dates:
Wednesday, April 2nd – Scala, London
Thursday, April 3rd - The Hanbury Club, Brighton
