Pete Doherty has announced three solo gigs ahead of The Libertines' Hyde Park reunion show in July.
The Libertines confirmed their massive Hyde Park gig last month, and the announcement was followed by news of a series of warm-up shows and a headline slot at Benicassim festival.
It seems that's not enough warming up for Doherty though, who has just revealed he'll be playing in Nottingham, Oxford and Bristol in the run-up to Hyde Park on 5 July.
Doherty has been performing the occasional solo gig since the split of The Libertines, as well as with his other band Babyshambles.
Speaking to NME about The Libertines' forthcoming reunion, Doherty said: "We were talking about doing some news songs. Or even better, finishing some old songs that we always knew should have been on Up The Brack if we could have been arsed."
Nottingham Bodega - 1 July
Oxford, Academy - 2 July
Bristol, The Fleece - 3 July
