Piers Morgan offers Lily Allen a `five-figure charity donation` for interview

The offer was made after the strong-headed pair went to war on Twitter according to The Sun.

Lily posted, 'Just been asked to do Piers Morgan live stories. Ummmmmmmm...................'

Piers quickly replied calling the singer a 'big wuss', prompting Lily to reply, 'oh and I am many things, a wuss is definitely not one of them.'

When she joked about how much she would get paid for making an appearance, Piers sarcastically said, 'Do you mean how much do you have to pay me for this career-enhancing interview?'

But, having miscarried at six months, Lily soon brought him down a peg or two by insisting that any payment would be for 'a charity that helps women to overcome the kind of grief that I have had to experience.'

Piers sympathised, 'I think that would be a very honourable reason to do the show.

'No woman should ever have to go through what you went through. Sadly, I know a few who have, it's heart-breaking.'

She asked for a million pounds, but snubbed Piers' offer of a 'substantial five figure donation' with a simple 'no'.
