Queens of the Stone Age have added an additional London Wembley Arena date to their recently announced November UK tour due to demand for tickets. This tour news follows the release of their critically acclaimed sixth studio album '...Like Clockwork' which scored them a number no.2 in the UK - their highest UK chart position to date.
The band will kick off tour proceedings at Glasgow's Hydro Arena on November 16th before performing at Dublin's O2 Arena on the 17th, Belfast's Odyssey on the 18th, Manchester's Arena on the 20th, Birmingham's NIA on the 21st and finally London's Wembley Arena on both the 22nd and 23rd of November.
Produced by Joshua Homme and QOTSA, recorded by Mark Rankin with additional engineering by Alain Johannes and Justin Smith, at Josh's studio, Pink Duck, in Burbank, CA, '…Like Clockwork' is the latest – and if critical consensus is to be believed, best – Queens Of The Stone Age album. The world would seem to agree, as the record has gone to #1 in the US, Australia, Ireland and Portgual, #2 in the UK, Canada, Belgium, Switzerland, Finland and New Zealand, #3 in Holland and Austria, #4 in Denmark and top 10 in Germany, France, and Spain.
Queens of the Stone Age, after an incredible performance at this year's Download Festival are also confirmed to play at London's Roundhouse as part of the iTunes Festival on September 6th.
