Queens Of The Stone Age turn up

Queens Of The Stone Age finally got to play a UK show on the main stage at Scotland's T In The Park.

And frontman Josh Homme spoke to NME.COM before their incredible show to speak of his frustration and anger after the band's two London gigs at Somerset House and Koko were cancelled on Thursday (July 7) after the terrorist attacks in the UK capital.

The band's previous trip to London was also cancelled in March after Homme fell ill.

He insisted the band would return to the UK to play shows later this year.

He said of Scotland: “I love it here, I'm so excited. There's always lots of snogging and drinking here.”

He added: “The new album's going down great.” Later during the band's set he told the audience: “We're pleased to be ending our tour in Scotland. It's the best place in the world to get drunk.”

The set was heavy on songs from new album 'Lullabies To Paralyze', including the singles 'Little Sister' and 'In My Head'.
