R. Kelly is "open" to performing at Iggy Azalea's wedding.
Iggy's fiancé, sportsman Nick Young, recently joked that the singer would be the perfect reception guest because he could entertain the ceremony attendees with a rendition of his explicit ballad Marry The P**sy when the pair wed later this year.
And while Kelly initially thought it was a joke, he has revealed he has actually had an official meeting with Nick about the prospect.
"I heard about it, and I didn't think it was real until I met my man today," he told TMZ.com in an interview on Wednesday. "Now that I know it's real, we had a sit-down to discuss the logistics of it... Anything I wrote, I'm open to performing. I wrote the song, I'll put that on myself."
The occasion would be the first time the 48-year-old singer has performed the track at a wedding.
And he admits he never thought the song would be a potential first dance classic.
"I never thought anybody on the planet would ask me to sing it for a wedding, but you know what? It's gonna be fun," he said.
Iggy revealed during an interview with James Corden earlier this year that Nick was hoping to actually duet with Kelly on the song.
But Iggy is hoping that she can call in a favour from another of her musical pals.
"Demi Lovato's going to be one of my bridesmaids. She'd better sing at my wedding!" she said.
"I know Nick really wants R. Kelly to sing at our wedding so he can sing Marry the P**sy with R. Kelly… He's trying to make it happen."
