The irrepressible Reverend And The Makers have announced the release of their stomping new single 'Out Of The Shadows' on 20th August 2012 on Cooking Vinyl Records.
It's an upbeat slice of dancefloor indie that's perfect for the heady days of summer. It's also one of the highlights from their third album '@reverend_makers' which recently entered the UK Album charts at No.16.
Frontman Jon McClure made a surprise appearance at The Stone Roses' shows in Heaton Park when he sang the Clash classic 'Bank Robber' with Mick Jones' Justice Tonight band – and fulfilling two childhood ambitions into the bargain.
The band just played two huge support slots with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers at Knebworth and The Stadium of Light in Sunderland and have a busy summer packed with festival appearances. They will embark on a major headline tour of the UK in October after their May dates sold out in super quick time. They supported Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds on their arena tour earlier this year.
