The eclectic and ultra-talented line-up at the Reeperbahn Festival 2009 includes the likes of Reverend and The Makers, this Summer's festival favourites Dananananakroyd and Fight Like Apes in what is shaping up to be September's premier international live music event.
Established musical heavyweights, such as post-punk indie rockers Editors and American alt-rock trio Dinosaur Jr are already billed for this year's Reeperbahn Festival, alongside an eagerly anticipated DJ set from Brazilian new-wavers CSS (Cansei de Ser Sexy) and one of Scotland's biggest and brightest recent exports Biffy Clyro.
From 24th-26th September, over 160 international acts will be heading down the globally renowned highway and strutting their stuff around the array of fashionable and iconic venues. Venues such as Kaiserkeller, where a young band from Liverpool –The Beatles cut their musical teeth. All venues and locations are handpicked by the Reeperbahn team to reflect the dynamic and distinctive feel of the festival.
