REVEREND and the Makers have been confirmed as one of the headliners of this year's
Love Music Hate Racism Festival.
The indie rockers will headline the one-day event which place on Saturday 30 May at the Britannia Stadium, Stoke On Trent.
Frontman Jon McClure said: "At last year's Love Music Hate Racism festival I saw people of all races and denominations together in the afternoon sun listening to music.
"You think how music has changed in the last 50 years -- we would have none of that mixture of music and culture if racist groups had their way."
N-Dubz, Roll Deep, VV Brown and The Beautiful South are also on the line-up for this year's concert.
Last year the Love Music Hate Racism took place in Victoria Park in London where over 100,000 attended for the day long event.
This year's event in Stoke is the first time the annual festival has taken place outside of the capital.
The festival is being organised by Love Music Hate Racism, Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Stoke City Football Club, and is supported by football's anti-racism charity, Kick it Out.
