It's been a rough couple of days for Rick Ross, but the Maybach Music mastermind is said to be back to work after an attempt was made on his life earlier this week.
Rozay hasn't spoken (or tweeted) about the situation, but his buddy Pusha T ensures us once again that the Bawse is good — in fact he's already hit the studio. "I just spoke to Ross today actually. He just texted me today. He's about to send me a record, but that was all we talked about," the G.O.O.D. Music MC told on Thursday night while he was out in Brooklyn, New York, filming a video for "Doesn't Matter," the French Montana-assisted track from his most recent Wrath of Caine mixtape.
Push isn't exactly sure what will become of the record, but he is more than happy to come through for Ross, whom he credits with helping him get a guest spot on Kanye's 2010 LP My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy."I know it's gonna be heat, and if he asked me for it right now, he'd probably want something demon, and I'm gonna give him that demon on that verse," the Clipse MC boasted, though he wasn't exactly sure where the record would end up. "It's probably for his, I'm sure it's for his or whatever project he got goin' on."
What should Rick Ross do next? Experts weigh in!
On Monday, hours after celebrating his 37th birthday at Club LIV in Miami, Ross came under a hail of gunfire as he was driving his Rolls Royce near the intersection of East Las Olas Boulevard and Southwest 15th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. Luckily, Ross wasn't hit, but questions concerning his safety quickly arose. TMZ has reported that Ross has hired full-time armed security guards and while the incident is no doubt alarming, it hasn't seem to deter the rapper, who is releasing his sixth solo album, Mastermind, this year.
Pusha first put minds at ease on Tuesday, saying that he had gotten word back from Ross and that the star rapper was simply "layin' back." Now, the fact that he is back in the booth is an encouraging sign for Ross and his fans. "He good, he's good, if he's sending me records he's good. He's straight," Pusha assured Thursday.
