Rick Ross Hits #1 With God Forgives, I Don't

You don't get to be the boss by coming in second. That's why it's no surprise that Rick Ross's fifth studio album, the eagerly anticipated God Forgives, I Don't
 was a lock for the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. According to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan, Rozay moved 218,000 copies of the CD, easily earning him the top spot and giving him his fourth solo #1 debut and best first-week sales to date.

Ross' sales crushed last weeks' #1, the Zac Brown Band's Uncaged, which slipped to #2 on sales of 39,000. The only new faces in the top 10 belonged to a Number Ones compilation from disco kings the Bee Gees (#5, 32,000) that benefitted from an Amazon.com 99-cent promotion and the latest from British soul singer Joss Stone, Soul Sessions V2 (#10, 24,000).

The rest of the top 10: Justin Bieber, Believe (#3, 35,000), One Direction, Up All Night (#4, 34,000), Nas, Life is Good (#6, 32,000), Kids Bop 22 (#7, 31,000), Adele, 21 (#8, 29,000) and Maroon 5, Overexposed (#9, 25,000).

Just outside the top 10 were country act Gloriana with Thousand Miles Left Behind (#11, 23,000) and rockers Testament, Dark Roots of Earth (#12, 20,000). The soundtrack to Whitney Houston's final film, "Sparkle,"
 landed at #26 on sales of 12,000.

Thanks to the exposure at the Olympics, "American Idol" winner Phillip Phillips' debut single, "Home," takes the top spot on the iTunes singles chart, unseating former #1, Flo Rida's "Whistle." Carly Rae Jepsen hung tight at #3 with "Call Me Maybe," followed by Fun. with "Some Nights," Katy Perry with "Wide Awake," Cher Lloyd's "Want U Back," Justin Bieber's "As Long As You Love Me," Owl City and Jepsen's "Good Time," Pink's "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" and Ellie Goulding's "Lights."

Ross also nabbed the top spot on the iTunes album chart, followed by One Direction, Zac Brown Band, Frank Ocean's Channel Orange, Stone, Nas, Fun., the self-titled debut from the Lumineers, Joshua Radin's Underwater and Bieber.

Ross may be able to hold on for another week, as the new faces hitting charts in the next frame include the NOW 43 compilation and the debut from singer Elle Varner.
