The 49-year-old funny man will host the 68th Golden Globe Awards live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California on Sunday January 16.
Gervais was seen at Clyde's pharmacy in New York where he was reportedly spotted putting on a $175 Immunocologie Line Smoothing Treatment Serum to one half of his face.
According to UsMagazine.com, onlookers say he was happy with its instant brightening results and he bought two bottles of the serum.
The comedian recently spoke to Ryan Seacrest and said he was going 'all out' to make sure he's invited back for a third year.
