Ricky Gervais? jokey TwitPic with Johnny Depp

The British comedian recently posted a picture on Twitter of himself posing with the Hollywood star – who appears to be cupping the funnyman’s nether regions.

“This isn't in shops either,” wrote Gervais. “My life-size Johnny Depp penis holder. Only £12,000,000.99.”

Gervais, who has recently returned to Twitter after a two-year hiatus, has posted dozens of jokey pictures of himself since he rejoined the site.

Last week, The Office star uploaded a picture of himself posing with dwarf actor Warwick Davis in a frog costume and tweeted: “If I don't get a million followers by November 10th, I'm taking him to a French restaurant.”

The 50-year-old star – who currently has 274,034 followers on the social networking site – has recently unveiled plans for a new TV show with Davis, 41, who starred in the Leprechaun film series.

In another shot, Gervais holds the 3ft 6in, Surrey-born actor in his arms with the post: “Me and Warwick in Brokeback Mongtain [sic].”

And just in case any of his followers were offended by his use of the word “mong”, Gervais wrote: “Just to clarify for uptight people stuck in the past – the word ‘mong’ means Down's Syndrome about as much as the word ‘gay’ means happy – ie I never use the word ‘mong’ to mean anything to do with Down’s Syndrome.'
