The 38-year-old singer looked happier than ever as he appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show earlier today.
In the exclusive tell-all interview, he told Winfrey: 'I am in a relationship right now, it feels amazing.
'I'm in a very beautiful relationship. Love happens when you least expect it. I wasn't looking for it in any way, shape or form…
“All I can say is, he loves my children and they love him. It can't get better.'
Martin, who has surrogate toddler twins Matteo and Valentino, spilled the beans about his desperate struggle with his sexuality and how announcing he was gay, in March this year, made him feel “free”.
He revealed that he broke down in tears minutes after posting a message on his website declaring, “I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man”.
He said: 'I was in my studio alone for a minute. My assistant walked in and I just started crying like a little baby. I started crying.”
He added: 'I was crying because I felt free, I felt liberated. I could finally say I love myself completely.'
For the first time in years, Martin also took to the stage with British singer Joss Stone to perform their new single The Best Thing About Me Is You.
