Ricky Martin is a "such a great fit" for Glee, says the show's star Lea Michele.
The Puerto Rican singer is the latest celebrity to cameo on the hit musical TV series, with Olivia Newton-John, Gwyneth Paltrow and Britney Spears having previously featured.
Lea, who plays Rachel Berry in the popular Fox show, took to her Twitter page to gush about having Ricky on set.
The singer-and-actress was delighted to welcome the 40-year-old Latin star on board.
"So much fun on set with Ricky! He's seriously the sweetest and such a great fit for our show! (sic)" she gushed, before posting a picture to accompany the post.
Lea was thrilled to be reuniting with Ricky. The pair both have a musical theatre background, and have previously worked together.
"Back at work! Starting our next episode with my old friend Ricky Martin!" she wrote.
"I've known Ricky since I'm 8 years old! He was in Les Mis on Broadway with me in 1996! Crazy huh?! (sic)"
Lea has previously hinted about guest cameos on Glee. The brunette star told fans that they can expect more appearances on the comedy-drama show in the future.
"I have heard the rumours about Ricky and Gloria Estefan. Ryan [Murphy, Glee co-creator] told me that we have four major stars coming onto the show," she wrote at the end of last year.
