Katy Perry and Rihanna are apparently planning to go on a safari holiday together.
The popstars are believed to have been through a rocky patch over the past year, with Katy said to have disapproved when Rihanna rekindled her romance with Chris Brown. However, it now seems they are rebuilding their friendship and are eager to take a girls-only trip this year.
"Katy and Rihanna have both done the Hawaii and Cabo-type trips to Mexico before, so this time they're thinking something a bit different, like a safari in Africa," a source told British newspaper The Sun. "They want somewhere where they can have amazing experiences but still get drunk."
Last year it was claimed Rihanna had offered to fly Katy away for a girly holiday in Mexico, after she was left heartbroken following the end of her marriage to Russell Brand.
Katy's love life still appears to be tumultuous after she recently split from musician John Mayer after an on/off relationship.
It seems a relaxing break with Rihanna could be just the thing to take her mind off men.
Katy put an end to rumours she has distanced herself from Rihanna after the pair exchanged cheeky Twitter messages last week.
The flurry of tweets came after Rihanna was spotted visiting a Miami strip club.
"Ermm…I was in LA Saturday night…Should I be proud or offended I wasn't invited @rihanna #WHOISTHISDOPPLEGANGER (sic)," Katy asked Rihanna, who swiftly replied: "@katyperry errm I wasn't! Lol! #miaminights howeverrrrr....I'll still let you spank me! (sic)."
The flirty exchange then led to Katy suggesting a date for the pair to meet.
"Don't worry @rihanna I'll make it up to you at Barclays...Or more like let you make it up to me... Hehehe @rihanna (sic)."
Earlier this year it was claimed that tensions were so strained between the singers that Katy asked to be seated away from Rihanna and Chris at the Grammy Awards in February.
