Rihanna finds it "annoying" when guys become more sensitive than her.
The stunning singer is currently single, although she has been linked to Ashton Kutcher and her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown recently.
The star has previously bemoaned not having a partner, although she won't settle for just anyone. Rihanna knows exactly what she wants when it comes to her love life.
"I understand boys and, most of the time, I think like them. It can get in the way because guys become more sensitive than I am, and that's just so weird to me – and annoying!" she laughed to Company magazine.
Rihanna hit the headlines recently when it was rumoured she was considering rekindling her romance with Chris, who she split with after he assaulted her.
Her brother Rorrey Fenty has now spoken out about their relationship.
"Rihanna and Chris were great together, they were like soul mates, but it's a very sensitive subject – I just blank it out and I think she blanks it out, too," he told Heat magazine.
"When she looks unhappy, it's not because of her missing Chris, it's because of how hectic her lifestyle is – she sometimes does 13-hour days."
Rorrey didn't discuss whether Rihanna and Chris are back in touch, but did say his 24-year-old sister would love to have a family one day.
"She needs a man who likes to do the stuff she likes doing, someone laidback and fun-loving," he said.
"There are a million guys across the world waiting to take her out, but she says they are more intimidated by her than anything else."
Rorrey also let slip that Rihanna did enjoy a romance with Drake, who she has collaborated with in the past. There have been rumours the pair were once more than friends, which Rorrey admits were true.
"Rihanna doesn't have a boyfriend right now. Drake and Rihanna used to be together – and he's a pretty cool dude," Rorrey said.
"I was in a club in LA, and he saw me and came over. I was nearly his brother-in-law, but I didn't know him so well, so I was touched by that."
Rihanna recently made the move into movies, appearing in Battleship alongside Liam Neeson, Taylor Kitsch and Alexander Skarsgard.
Swedish hunk Alexander made a particular impact on her, and she found it hard to contain herself when he was nearby.
"Oh my God, he's so hot!" she laughed to Company. "I mean, I went from gawking at him for hours every time I watched True Blood on DVDs back-to-back on tour, then BOOM! He's on set. I told myself, just breath, act cool. I was acting on set and off!"
