Rihanna has explained some of the inspiration behind tracks off new album 'Loud'.
The singer's fourth album 'Loud', set for release November 22, is highly inspired by the reggae godfather Bob Marley, the Daily Star reports.
Speaking about reggae track 'Man Down': Man Down is gangsta. It comes from me trying to achieve that Bob Marley vibe. I’m super inspired by reggae music. It has been a part of me since I was born,'' Rihanna said.
She added: ''I grew up listening to it and loving it. All my favourite artists are reggae, so it was really exciting doing this track.”
Meanwhile, last Sunday the singer retained the top spot with ‘Only Girl (In The World)’, meaning the boy band, who recently reunited with Robbie Williams, had to settle for number two.
