Rihanna's home was apparently invaded by an unwanted intruder last night.
A man has been arrested at the singer's mansion in the Los Angeles district of Pacific Palisades.
According to TMZ, neighbours alerted the police after they saw someone snooping around the star's house.
The eagle-eyed residents are said to have apprehended the unwanted intruder on site.
They allegedly detained the man until local authorities arrived, after which the man was arrested.
Law enforcement sources have revealed to the website that the suspect claims he had been given instructions by email, detailing how to get into Rihanna's home.
The instructions seemed to be accurate, as the man was allegedly snooping around inside the property for some time before police officers were alerted.
The nearby residents kept the stranger at the scene until police arrived. The man was then taken into custody, where he is currently being investigated for burglary.
Rihanna is not believed to have been at home at the time of the incident. The star, who recently turned 25-years-old, has been enjoying a holiday in Hawaii with rapper Chris Brown following a busy promotional schedule for her River Island clothing line.
In December last year Rihanna was reportedly subjected to another break-in, when a fan tried to enter her Barbados holiday villa. According to British newspaper The Sun, the intruder made his way into the property but security were quick to spot the fan and ushered him away.
