Rihanna has found the perfect guy to link up with on her 2013 Diamonds Tour. Instead of recruiting her former (and reportedly current) flame Chris Brown — whom she teamed up with on a new track "Nobodies Business" — the singer has confirmed that A$AP Rocky will open for her when she hits the road next year.
She tweeted out the news on Wednesday, writing, "This is gonna be some Young Epic Rockstar sh--! See you on tour @asvpxrocky :) #DIAMONDSTOUR #NorthAmerica."
Named after her lead single off her November album, Unapologetic, the tour kicks off on March 8 in Buffalo, New York, before making its way around North America with stops in Chicago, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The North American leg of the tour will wrap up in May at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. More dates for the trek will be announced at a later date. But, ahead of the big tour, she will introduce the exclusive world premiere for the video for "Diamonds" on MTV and MTV.com on November 8 at 6:50 p.m. ET.
Fans might remember that Rihanna and A$AP tore up the 2012 VMA stage back in September when they performed a remix of her Talk That Talk track, "Cockiness." While he wasn't featured on the album version of the track, Rih Rih did enlist him for re-imagined version of the single.

The news comes just two weeks before she releases her album, Unapologetic, on November 19. For it, she worked with David Guetta, Eminem, Future and Mikky Ekko. On the upbeat "Nobodies Business," Rihanna and ex-flame Brown tell the world, "I want to be your baby/ You'll always be my baby/ And sing it to the world/Baby give me some/I'm gonna be your girl/And it ain't nobody's business."
Make sure to check out Rihanna's premiere of "Diamonds" on Thursday, November 8 at 6:50 p.m. ET The 24-hour exclusive will extend to all of MTV's channels at 7 p.m. ET, when mtvU, MTV Hits and MTV Jams premiere the music video and put it into regular rotation. Fans around the world will also be able to stream the video online at Rihanna.MTV.com.
