Rihanna has refuted claims that illness has forced her to cancel a number of upcoming live performances and a UK visit, revealing to her Twitter followers that she merely delayed her visit to spend time with family.
The 'We Found Love' star was reported to have cancelled a ten week stay in the UK yesterday (June 7), with performances at Wireless and Radio 1's Hackney Weekend both said to be axed.
However, as revealed by Gigwise, neither headline performance has been scrapped and Rihanna will still perform at both festivals. Tweeting about the story, Rihanna added: "I'm not sick!" adding: "I pushed my trip to London back to go spend time with my family! Sorry kiddos."
Taking aim at The Sun, who originally reported the cancellation story, Rihanna joked: "The Sun Newspaper is like a f**kin ass hair, full of s**t!!!!!!"
Earlier this week Rihanna expressed her surprise that her recent duet with Chris Brown offended some people.
