Rihanna is not pregnant despite previous reports claiming she was with child.
Rumours surfaced on Sunday, April 6 that the Stay singer was pregnant with either Chris Brown or Drake's baby. But a source close to the 26-year-old has now quashed any speculation of her being an expectant mother.
"Rihanna's not pregnant with any body's baby," the source told Hollywood Life. "Motherhood is the last thing on her mind these days, like the last! She's not in a serious enough relationship to even discuss, let alone think about having a child. Sorry, that's not the case."
The rumour started after it was reported that the singer had given up alcohol and weed in recent weeks. Rihanna is supposedly in a relationship with fellow musician Drake, who she has dated in the past. She has been supporting him on his current European tour and the pregnancy rumours increased when she skipped an official tour after party and returned to her hotel instead. However, while she isn't expecting now, becoming a mother is something the Barbadian would like to happen in the future.
"One day, with the right man, at the right time she'd want to begin a family," the source continued. "She would be a good mother and love and spoil her kid rotten but she's not ready."
It isn't the first time pregnancy rumours have surrounded the singer. Last April similar reports surfaced that she was expecting during her rekindled romance with ex-Chris Brown. The speculation came after Rihanna cancelled a string of dates on her Diamonds world tour and was spotted making a number of visits to a doctor. However it turned out that she was just sick and had suffered with laryngitis.
