Rihanna shocked a waiter by leaving a $200 tip over the weekend.
The singer enjoyed a night out with six friends at the Laugh Factory Comedy Club in Los Angeles on Friday. Dane Cook was performing a stand-up routine and the group spent the evening laughing and chatting as they watched his show. Rihanna clearly had a great time, because when it came to settling the bill she offered a generous sum of money to the male waiter who had been looking after her table all night.
According to TMZ, the bill came to just $80. Rihanna apparently asked the waiter what the biggest tip he had ever received was, and he replied $100. The 24-year-old star then counted $200 into the man's hand and told him, "Now I'm your biggest tip."
Rihanna has been in great spirits recently and has taken to her Twitter account to reveal how excited she is about going on tour. The singer is embarking on her Diamonds World Tour, to showcase tracks from her Unapologetic album, in March. She clearly can't wait to take to the stage and entertain her fans.
"Diamonds World Tour. It's approaching so quickly, and I'm hype az sh*t! Big ups to my n***** who got tickets (sic)," she wrote.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that a sneak preview of Rihanna's rumoured collaboration with Lady Gaga, Beyoncé Knowles and Azealia Banks has been leaked.
The track opens with sirens blaring as a deep voice booms Ratchet, which is the title of the tune, before a hip-hop beat kicks in. The 24-second snippet was posted on SoundCloud.
Ratchet was produced by DJ White Shadow, who regularly works with Gaga.
Azealia first hinted at the collaboration, after revealing she had been teaming up with Gaga on a couple of tracks.
"I worked with Lady Gaga, but I worked with Lady Gaga from afar. We worked via email and via Internet. We have a song called Red Flame and a song called Ratchet, but I don't know what she's doing with it. She's going to release it when she wants to release it," she revealed.
Gaga has also teased that she plans to release a follow-up to Telephone – her iconic duet with Beyoncé, while Beyoncé fuelled rumours by posting a picture of hooped earrings engraved with the word ratchet on her Instagram account.
