Most musical acts are lucky to play "Saturday Night Live" one time. But Maroon 5 and Rihanna are no regular artists. Both will put up the rare fourpeat this month when they return to SNL alongside Oscar-nominated hosts.
Following this weekend's power duo of comedian Louis CK and Fun., the November 10 show will feature three-time host Anne Hathaway promoting "Les Miserables" alongside Rihanna, who is hyping up her upcoming seventh album, Unapologetic.
A week later, the November 17 show will be hosted by "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" star Jeremy Renner making his SNL debut coupled with "The Voice" star Adam Levine and the gang. Renner will be making his debut on the stage of Studio 8H following a successful Facebook campaign launched by fans entitled "Help Get Jeremy Renner to Host SNL."
Both bands have dipped into acting on the show as well, with Rihanna famously appearing in a number of digital shorts alongside former cast member Andy Samberg's Shy Ronnie. Maroon's Levine tried his hand in a digital short as well when he crooned alongside Samberg in the 2007 Mahmoud Ahmadinejad tribute ballad "Iran So Far."
