Rihanna craves romance but worries she is surrounded by "too many vaginas".
The Barbadian star, who has recently been linked to her former boyfriend Chris Brown, admitted she was craving male attention in an interview conducted earlier this year but only just released.
The outspoken star claimed she was desperate for a date after being single for two years.
"I have not been on a date in forever. Like two years. Haven't gone to the movies, to dinner. Zero," Rihanna told American Vogue magazine.
"I would love to go on a date. You don't think that? I'm a woman. A young woman, vibrant, and I love to have fun. And I have too many vaginas around me at this point."
The interview was conducted a few weeks before the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in September. When questioned on her single status, Rihanna said her biggest obstacle is getting someone to ask her out in the first place.
"Seriously, all I want is a guy to take me out and make me laugh for a good hour and take my ass back home. He doesn't even have to come up. All I want is a conversation for an hour," Rihanna explained. "No one asks. Trust me on that. I'm waiting for the man who's ballsy enough to deal with me. I'm going to wait, though. You always find the wrong sh*t when you go looking."
Since the interview was conducted in August, Rihanna has been linked to her ex-boyfriend Chris. The pair split in 2009 after Chris attacked Rihanna, but they have remained in touch ever since. After the VMAs in September, reports they have reconciled have grown.
Earlier this month, Chris dumped his girlfriend Karrueche Tran citing his "friendship" with Rihanna as being partially to blame.
He and Rihanna have been seen on several supposed dates, including an appearance together at Jay-Z's concert in Brooklyn New York.
