The couple split after Brown assaulted her before the Grammy Awards in 2009, bit RiRi said that's all in the past and she's moved on to a place where she is actually a fan of his music.
She told Esquire magazine, 'It was too much anger. I'm really excited to see the breakthrough he's had in his career. I would never wish anything horrible for him. Never. I never have.'
And she even had praise for how he bounced back with his hit album F.A.M.E.
'It's incredible to see how he pulled out the way he did,' she gushed. 'Even when the world seemed like it was against him, you know? I'm a fan of his stuff. I've always been a fan.'
