Rihanna believes her newest single is "addictive."
The 23-year-old singer released You Da One today, the second single off her album Talk That Talk. The high-energy track produced by Dr. Luke was a riveting song to record for Rihanna.
The songstress believes the track's sultriness is irresistible.
"This is one of those records, it becomes very addictive," Rihanna told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show on Friday morning. "To me, it's very infectious: the more you listen to it, the more you want to listen to it. It had a reggae vibe, but it's a sweet little love letter. I love the record. It's kind of dirty, I love it."
Rihanna expressed her authentic self while recording Talk That Talk as she wanted audiences to genuinely connect with the music. She has transformed her physical appearance in connection with this theme, preferring a more natural style.
"I kind of just wanted to scale back, instead of having a look," she explained. "I didn't want to make it such a big deal, like what hair colour. I wanted to go back to something simple, something flexible; something a little more natural. It's more about the music. I don't want to become a gimmick ever. Well, I ran out of colours so I decided to go back to my natural colour!"
Rihanna is an active on social media website Twitter. Fans and critics have been incredibly positive about her latest musical efforts. She appreciates the support and is happy that her album is being so well received.
"I'm so excited it's done. I feel so great," Rihanna said. "The snippets came out yesterday and people are really reacting. I know the songs that I love, and to see people react to them the same way that I do ... I got excited like I never heard it."
Talk That Talk will be released on November 18.
