Rihanna has confirmed the title of her new album and appears topless on the cover.
The Barbados-born singer took to Twitter earlier today to tell fans she would be making an announcement about her upcoming seventh record.
This afternoon she confirmed it is called Unapologetic and tweeted the cover.
"I'm going to tweet the OFFICIAL title of the ALBUM soon!!!" she wrote.
"My NEW album "UNAPOLOGETIC" will be released on NOVEMBER 19th WORLDWIDE (sic)."
The cover shows Rihanna topless with one arm behind her head and the other reaching to her neck. She has cropped dark hair and is gazing into the camera with full, dark red lips.
Words are scrawled all over her body, among them love, faith, fun, fearless, happy and censored. It's rumoured they are the title of songs on the record.
The sprawling goddess tattoo Rihanna had inked beneath her breasts in honour of her grandmother is visible in the picture.
The star has already debuted the first track from the record, called Diamonds. The catchy tune features uplifting lyrics including "shine bright like a diamond" and topped the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hip Songs chart.
