Rihanna set for engagement?

The beautiful singer has been dating professional baseball player Matt for eight months, and their relationship appears to be going from strength to strength.

Sources close to the pair have revealed they are infatuated with each other, and they think a wedding could be on the horizon. However, the couple are very career driven, so it is thought they wouldn’t rush into anything.

"They are in love. Seeing them interact, it's definitely possible he could propose - but it'd have to be a long engagement, because they're both so focused on their careers,” an insider told Us Magazine.

The source added that L.A. Dodgers player Matt helps keep 22-year-old pop star Rihanna grounded, because he leads a less glamorous lifestyle than her. Apparently the couple keep in touch via telephone a great deal as work commitments often keep them apart, although when they are together they shun fancy restaurants and A-list parties in favour of goofing around together.

"He centres her, as he has a more normal life," a friend of Rihanna’s said of 26-year-old Matt.

 "He allows her space, but they text and talk all the time. And they really have fun like kids when they're together. They like to laugh and be silly."
