Rihanna has said sorry to fans after arriving on stage 90 minutes late for a gig in Belfast.
The singer was due on stage at 8.45pm for the first of three gigs at the Odyssey Arena, but didn't begin her show until 10.15pm, according to the Belfast Telegraph.
The newspaper's music critic said that “loud boos” rang out around the arena before Rihanna's arrival.
The singer issued an apology on Twitter and blamed last minute preparations for the delay, which came on the opening night of her three month long European Loud tour.
She wrote: “BELFAST sorry for being so late 2nt!BIG SHOW!FIRST NIGHT!Things dont always run smoothly or as planned, but I dearly appreciate ur patience.”
Rihanna is due to play the Odyssey Arena again tonight (September 30) and tomorrow (October 1).
Earlier this week, the singer filmed the video for her new Calvin Harris-produced single 'We Found Love' in the Northern Irish city.
