Wracked by guilt, the Umbrella singer bought the newlyweds and all-expenses paid trip to Tokyo to make up for missing her friend’s big day due to 'work commitments'.
A source told The Sun: 'Rihanna hasn't stopped apologising since the wedding day. She told Katy she'd been racking her brains about how to make it up to them. She knows how much Katy loves Tokyo, so this way she could give them a trip they would always remember.'
The trip is said to include first-class flights and four nights at the Mandarin Oriental hotel.
