No matter what trouble Chris Brown finds himself in, Rihanna always seems to have his back. On Wednesday (February 6), Brown arrived at a Los Angeles courthouse with his off-again, on-again girlfriend for a probation-violation hearing stemming from his assault on her in 2009.
Brown, who was also accompanied by his mother and lawyer Mark Geragos, faced the L.A. district attorney over claims that he did not complete his 180 days of community labor in connection with his 2009 plea deal. A filing from the DA stated that there were "significant discrepancies indicating at best sloppy documentation and at worst fraudulent reporting," an accusation Geragos adamantly denied.
According to TMZ, sources in the courthouse claimed Rihanna blew Brown a kiss before the two walked out arm-in-arm.
The judge explained that more time was needed to review evidence brought to him by the district attorney and instructed Brown to meet with his Los Angeles probation officer within 48 hours regarding the allegations.
The next scheduled court date is April 5.
Chris and Rihanna were photographed early Wednesday morning leaving a recording studio, the same night Brown took to his now-private Instagram to vent about his latest personal woes. "I'm not gonna sit here and play the victim, I'm just tired of this sh-- ... I pray ever day and night for a new outcome," Brown wrote in the lengthy post.
Rihanna recently opened up to Rolling Stone about the current state of her relationship with Brown. "He doesn't have the luxury of f---ing up again," she said. "That's just not an option. I can't say that nothing else will ever go wrong. But I'm pretty solid in the knowing that he's disgusted by that. And I wouldn't have gone this far if I ever thought that was a possibility."
