The first group of performers have been announced for the upcoming 55th annual Grammy Awards and they include some of the night's most nominated acts.
Leading the list are six time nominees and the only act honored in each of the so-called Big Four categories, Record and Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Best New Artist, Fun. Fellow six timers Mumford & Sons will also perform, as well five-time nominees the Black Keys and triple dippers Rihanna and Taylor Swift.
LL Cool J will return as the host of the show, which will air on CBS on February 10. With more performers and presenters to be announced soon, the show will mark the Grammy telecast debut for the Keys and Fun., and a return for Rihanna and Mumford & Sons.
Mumford & Sons made a memorable Grammy stage debut in 2011 when they joined members of the Avett Brothers, who all served as the backing band for folk rock icon Bob Dylan on a performance of his iconic "Maggie's Farm."
Rihanna turned heads at last year's Grammys with a high-energy performance of her hit "We Found Love," which featured lasers, LED lights and rave-like energy. She ended the set with Coldplay's Chris Martin, who strummed an acoustic guitar for the TV debut of the his band's Mylo Xyloto collaboration, "Princess of China."
