Last year, when Rihanna was discussing her role in the sorta-based-on-a-boardgame (only with aliens) action flick "Battleship," she told she "wanted to do something badass."
Well, it looks like she nailed the "bad" part: She's been nominated for Worst Supporting Actress at the 33rd Annual Razzies, the awards show that recognizes the worst in film. Rih Rih will face off against Jessica Biel (who scored dual noms for her roles in "Playing For Keeps" and "Total Recall,") her "Battleship" co-star Brooklyn Decker, Jennifer Lopez (nominated for "What to Expect When You're Expecting") and "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" star's" Ashley Green in the category.
And speaking of "Twilight," the final installment of the ultra-successful franchise will head into the Razzies as the most, uh, honored film, racking up a staggering 11 nominations ... a total that's even more impressive considering there are only 10 Razzie categories. It's up for Worst Picture, Worst Actor (Robert Pattinson), Worst Actress (Kristen Stewart), Worst Supporting Actress and Actor (Taylor Lautner), Worst Screen Ensemble, Worst Director (Bill Condon), Worst Screenplay and a pair of nominations in the Worst Screen Couple category, with both K.Stew and R.Pattz and Lautner and Mackenzie "Little Renesmee" Foy in the running.
We're so not feeling the public shaming 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2' got from the Razzies.
If "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" takes home all 11 awards, it will make Razzie history for most wins in a single night, eclipsing the mark of 10 set by Adam Sandler's "Jack & Jill" at last year's ceremony.
The 33rd Razzies will be presented on February 23 — the night before the 85th Academy Awards — in Hollywood. Should they actually choose to attend the ceremony, "winners" will be presented with the famed "$4.79 gold spray-painted pineapple."
