Amanda de Cadenet returns to her British roots to film a UK special of her chat show, The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet, exclusively for Lifetime in the UK.
In a bold take on the celebrity interview, de Cadenet talks freely with three of Britain's most high profile women; superstar, Rita Ora, supermodel and actress, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and award-winning columnist and writer, Caitlin Moran. The thought-provoking, authentic and raw conversations centre on themes shared by women worldwide, including sexuality, body image, career, money, love, loss, politics and perseverance. As with the US version of the show Amanda's guests discuss their extraordinary life stories with candour and honesty.
Already a hit in the States, The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet has featured captivating and moving interviews with iconic women and role models including Gwyneth Paltrow, Lady Gaga, Eva Longoria, Jane Fonda, Alicia Keys and Eva Mendes. For the first time on UK television, Lifetime will also air the full US series to give viewers a chance to hear Longoria's thoughts on infidelity, Gaga's opinion on love, Paltrow's struggle with post-natal depression and Fonda's battle with bulimia.
In addition, US guest and personal friend Gwyneth Paltrow turns the tables on de Cadenet, inviting the celebrity photographer and TV presenter to share her own thoughts and views on womanhood and life's challenges.
Host and executive producer of the series, Amanda de Cadenet, said: "I couldn't be more excited to introduce the show to the UK, and to add these incredible new guests to The Conversation family. Each woman shared something beautiful and unique, and my hope is that these stories will inspire and empower the UK audience as they navigate their own lives."
The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet starts early November on Lifetime (Sky 156 / Virgin 242).
