Rita Ora says meeting Chaka Khan was a "dream".
The British singer sat down with the ten-time Grammy winner to hold a Q&A for Grammy U Off the Record.
She made sure to share the moment she met one of her idols with her Instagram followers, posting a picture of herself in a multicoloured crop top and skirt, with Chaka dressed in black next to her.
"Too meet this lady has been one of my dreams I can't believe I'm standing next to you. Thank you for you. We love Chaka Khan!! #grammyU (sic)," she captioned the shot.
During the chat Rita, 24, appeared nervous as she quizzed the 61-year-old singing legend on her songbook, calling the chance to chat to her an "honour".
Clearly hoping to score a Grammy herself one day, Rita also posted a snap of herself next to one as colourful as her outfit.
"Thank you for having me Grammys and the whole academy. And I found one that goes with my dress. I'll take that thank you! Lol," she joked, also adding a snap of herself while interviewing Chaka on stage onto Instagram.
"Me fanning over pretending to be chilled. Thank you Grammy U for listening to our aspect of music from different points of views. And me listening and learning from miss khan. (sic)"
Rita also made sure to ask Chaka about her beginnings as a major recording artist. The star revealed exactly when she realised she might have a special talent, saying it was later than people might think.
"We did have a singing group, my sister and I, and we used to do talent shows," she recalled.
"My mom took us there and made our clothes. And when someone threw money on the stage, once, that's when I was like, 'Oh…'"
