Rita Ora warns fans to be careful on Twitter.
The 23-year-old had quite a shock recently when a tweet appeared on her official account, promising to release new music if it drummed up 100,000 retweets. However, after reaching around 2,000, it was swiftly deleted, with Rita explaining she had been hacked.
Reflecting on the experience, she urges her followers to think about how easy it can be to suffer something similar.
"Basically, everyone gets hacked, it's dealt with, I'm over it, it's old news," she brushed it off to the British edition of OK! magazine.
"Twitter has uploaded the security 150 per cent, so be careful because you all need to check your own Twitter accounts - and no naked pictures."
Luckily, Rita has plenty of other things to keep her going. Her new album is slated for release next year and she also has a small part in Fifty Shades of Grey, which is out in February. Her stint as mentor on The Voice UK alongside will.i.am, Ricky Wilson and Sir Tom Jones has influenced her latest tracks.
"Obviously being part of The Voice, I've worked more with will.i.am; he worked on my first album, so that's exciting," she revealed.
"I've also done some things with people I've hand-picked, like Major Lazer and DJ Mustard and Prince. Being a part of anything with Prince is incredible. It's about just making music that feels good."
Now Rita is looking forward to the future, which will hopefully include more acting work. She says her cameo in Fifty Shades was a "wake-up call" and has opened doors for her.
