Rita Ora has found old friends now act weird around her.
The peroxide blonde performer is one of the hottest names in music right now, and she regularly dominates charts around the globe.
While she remains grounded and close to her family and childhood friends, the star has noticed some people have found her fame hard to handle.
"It's been mental. Not that I'm complaining, but you start seeing things around you change, and people you've known for years begin acting weird. You find out who your real friends are," Rita sighed to the Australian edition of GQ magazine.
She doesn't let the behaviour of former pals get her down though. As well as counting the likes of fellow A-listers Cara Delevingne, Charli XCX and her boss Jay Z and his wife Beyoncé Knowles as good friends, Rita is also really close to her parents.
"I have an amazing background – my mum and dad are so moral-driven that there's no way I'd take a left turn. It's about being disciplined," she smiled.
Rita also couldn't help but gush over Australia, explaining that the people down under have always been supportive of her talents.
"Australia is one of the biggest supporters I've ever had. It was the first place I Will Never Let You Down went top ten, before it came out in the UK and Europe. Australia's always had my back," she enthused.
Alongside her music, the 24-year-old is carving out a successful TV career with a stint on the British version of The Voice.
She's also been busy on her Twitter account, urging fans to vote for her at this month's Brit Awards, where she's up for British Video for I Will Never Let You Down.
"Still can't believe I'm nominated for a Brit award! Yay!!!
"Don't forget to keep tweeting #BRITRITAORA to vote for me at the @BritAwards!! (sic)," she posted.
